How to access blocked websites without using hide IP software or web proxy

There are some simple tips that anyone can use for unblocking a websites. These methods are not providing you anonymity and are not hiding your IP address, but they will provide you access to blocked websites.

1. Use Google Translate.

  • Go to http://translate.google.com/ .
  • Paste the link of the blocked website into the translation field.
  • Select to translate from any language in English, because translation from English into English is not supported.

2. Use Google Cache.

  • In Search field write the website’s URL you want to unblock and paste in front of the URL “cache:”.
  • Example: cache:http://www.domain.com/

3. Use Web2Mail service.

  • Sign up for receiving any web page by e-mail
  • Web2Mail Lite allows you to subscribe to web pages and they delivered them to your inbox according to your own schedule. “You may choose the delivery time and frequency – daily, weekly, or on a particular day of the month.”

4. Use Internet Archive – Wayback Machine

  • Go to http://www.archive.org/.
  • Enter the URL of the blocked website in the Wayback Machine field and hit the “Take me back” button.

5. Use a URL redirection service

  • Use a URL redirection service like Tinyurl (http://www.tinyurl.com) or Snipurl (http://www.snipurl.com). These domain forward services sometimes work as the address in the URL box remain the redirect URL and do not change to the banned site.

6. Change the http into https.

  • In this way, many firewalls will consider this connection a secure one and will allow you to pass.

If these methods do not work for you than there are other options like hide IP software, web proxies or VPNs.
