Credit card fraud – main concern in US

Unisys Security Index has conducted a survey related to top online concerns during this financial crisis. The survey revealed that almost 75% of the US citizens are afraid of being victims of online thievery especially related to fraud.
The survey pointed out that these concerns are amplified by the financial crisis because many believe that these days economy is increasing their risk of identity. More than two-thirds from the ones surveyed confirmed that they are alarmed about other people getting their credit and debit card information, “with 90 percent at least somewhat concerned.”
A general conclusion was that people are less concerned about the national security while their financial security is a delicate subject.
